Winter festivals go back to ancient times and are found throughout the world.

It's a time for merrymaking.

Whether it is to celebrate the coming of Spring, some form of religion, or meerly to be part

of what the ruling class has forbidden, this is the day when people of all people

party and dance with abandon in the moment.

These paintings are studies of color with four parts: the mask, the cape, under the cape and the background.

The pink masks are a poke at the colonial rulers who conquered established cultures.

The hidden joy is found under the cape where the heart is found.
